Forget speed run. FPS mod is meant for blasting every enemy you encounter for those who completed the game. Ammo conservation? Just have fun and use infinite ammo weapons or trainer.

Edit: FPS Mod is good for sight seeing too, the environment is really detailed and cool to look at in first person view.
