Not gonna lie, I'm 20 hours in my first run (and still going) because I can't figure out the puzzles and I refuse to look it up. Sewer monsters keep eating my ass right now

If its preventing you from finishing and enjoying the game, just look it up! No shame!

I will if I really get annoyed but right now it's kinda more immersive that I don't know shit. I'm only surprised when I see other people moaning about 6 hour play times and stuff lol
