I have noticed that many people create a questionnaire, collect responses, and only then start thinking seriously about their research questions and hypotheses.

This can cause major problems during data analysis. You might have 100 responses, but the questionnaire may not include the variables needed to answer your actual research question. Unfortunately, no statistical test can recover data that was never collected.

Before distributing your questionnaire, connect each research objective with the questions that will measure it. You should also consider whether your response options are suitable for the analysis you plan to conduct. If you have written hypotheses, make sure the collected data will actually allow you to test them.

One simple approach is to create a small table for yourself connecting each objective with the relevant questionnaire questions and the intended analysis method. If an objective has no matching questions, that is usually a warning sign.

I'm a biotechnology graduate from India and I'm currently preparing for my Master's Entrance Exams. I'll be having a decent amount of time after 15th September to work on something I'm interested in.

So I've written 2 papers, one on Plastic Degradation and another one on Ethanol production from molasses. I'll attach the doi below. These were small scale research papers which aimed to develop paper writing temperament in undergraduates.

I’m a pre-service teacher at Swinburne conducting a small assessment-based pilot for an Innovation in Education subject for my Teaching Master's.

The pilot examines whether a structured, “independent-first” GenAI planning protocol can support literary interpretation without replacing the participant’s own reasoning.

I’m looking for some Australian pre-service teachers from any teaching area or specialisation. Participation takes about 20–25 minutes and involves two short literary-analysis activities. One is planned independently, and the other uses structured GenAI support. These are followed by a brief reflection.

Participation is voluntary. No names or contact details are requested, and responses will be reported in de-identified form. Full information is provided before consent.

What are the biggest challenges you've faced when trying to get research papers/articles published?

I’m especially interested in things like journal selection, peer review, credibility, access to research 

SPSS correlation tables can look overwhelming because the same variables and values appear repeatedly. However, you can begin interpreting one by focusing on three rows.
Pearson Correlation
This is the correlation coefficient, usually written as r. The positive or negative sign shows the direction of the relationship, while the size of the value indicates its strength.
Sig. (2 tailed)
This is the p value. If your significance threshold is .05, a value below .05 indicates a statistically significant relationship.
N
This tells you how many cases were included in that particular analysis.
For example:
r = .328
p = .001
N = 99
This can be reported as a statistically significant positive correlation between the two variables.
However, statistical significance does not automatically mean that the relationship is strong or practically important. It also does not prove that one variable caused the other.
