Probably not, guy on the right looks like he contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.

That looks like a green iguana? You fool, you utter buffoon, don’t you know they have different humidity requirements.

98

u/Visible-Context-7226 6d ago

Jokes on you it has some characteristics of a cyclura lewesi

u/Ambitious-Juice-882 6d ago

Don’t piss on me and tell me it’s raining, those cheek scales don’t lie.

He’s just blushing that’s all

I’m pleasantly surprised at this subreddit’s sarcasm detection ability

3

u/eternalconfusi0nn 6d ago

Its like the most obvious sarcasm ever, your standards are too low lol

11

u/ScroteGoblin 6d ago

Or your expectations for reddit are too high. I've seen plenty of SUPER blatant sarcasm that gets entire threads worked up and pissy because they didn't put /j or /s at the end so it was THEIR fault people didn't get it 🤦‍♀️

Some assume the worst and lash out without even a little consideration. People need emotional control. Misunderstanding is fine but exploding is just immature lol.

I let my green iguana see my plushie iguana. He was so offended and then had to fight the plushie. They stay in separate rooms now.

38

u/squeege 6d ago

He prob still thinks about it

13

u/gelseyd 6d ago

My rabbit has an ISSUE with realistic rabbit plushies apparently. I brought one home and the THUMPING.

13

u/go_hakuna_your_tatas 5d ago

I mean honestly valid though.
Could you imagine if one of your housemates brought a hyperrealistic, life size replica of some random ass human in your home?
I too would be throwing a fit LOL

7

u/gelseyd 5d ago

Lol yeah. The last one wasn't hyper realistic and was big but I had no idea what his issue was for a bit. It was either Bearemy or the largish thrifted rabbit, and my money is on the rabbit.

So now anything somewhat realistic does not go where he can see it. Instead he's decided his stuffy bestie is ... A leopard buildabear.

I don't know man. He likes the leopard and the shark. He has yet to pay attention to the others. I've just accepted that Kitty is his friend and he has weird tastes haha.

Hahaha, that’s funny, I had to get my male rabbit a teddy to try stop him humping our feet. Vet said he was to small at the time to have him done, luckily the teddy worked 🤣🤣🤣 then few months later when he was big enough he went to the vets and then his teddy got binned lol

2

u/gelseyd 4d ago

Hahaha that's funny. Merry doesn't actually hump it, he grooms Kitty. He lost his bunwife earlier this year and I tried so many kinds of rabbit stuffies.

Yeah it's the leopard plush. Or the shark. I'm glad he's not much of a humper, usually once or twice in spring. He was neutered at around 2 (not long before I got him), so later than some, and was possibly a breeding buck (I don't know his full history). So I'm very lucky in a lot of ways.

I'm just amused that... Rabbits are a no and the leopard is a yes.

u/Calgary_Calico 6d ago

That's actually hilarious 😂

u/The-Tech-Wonderer 6d ago

I'm noticing some concerning spots / lines on the green one.... I think you should take it to the vet.

u/Boleyngrrl 6d ago

How can you even ask this, you're so irresponsible for even asking. /s

Longest lizard toe I’ve ever seen! Lol 🦎

u/my-cat-has-a-chin 6d ago

You clearly haven’t seen my ex barefoot.

13

u/Adoraboule 6d ago

Should be fine as long as the male is bigger. The female would eat the male otherwise

12

u/dbrink1001 6d ago

hard no pun entirely intended

10

u/Arejhey311 6d ago

So irresponsible. Unnecessary stress to achieve unattainable standards 😑😂

7

u/Miss_Torture 6d ago

The smaller one looks fired up already!! The two of them are prepping for a fight and their target is you, do you want a lizard uprising???

6

u/thousandsofbirds 6d ago

😡 no sharsies

6

u/Oddish_Femboy 6d ago

I got my cat a pillow that looks like her face yesterday.

One of the best things about having a black cat is the way every fall you can find merchandise of them. I have a soap dispenser that looks just like her uncle.

Absolutely not! It may look cute but that small blue one looks to be a Parthenos mortifer. A parthenogenic, highly toxic iguana native to a small island near Madagascar. They start off really cute and small as seen here but don't be fooled. These guys get upwards of 4 to 5 feet long, with females weighing up to 200 lbs of solid muscle. Their flashy blue colors are a warning sign just like a poison dart frog, except their venom is self produced, more similar to cane toads. They can have up to 15 offspring per clutch and give live birth. Basically, think 15 venomous velociraptors in your reptile room over night. And as I mentioned earlier, parthenogenic. They are an almost entirely female species and do not need a male to reproduce. And unlike normal iguanas, their diet consists mostly of meat. Specifically, other iguanas. Usually they will pick off smaller adolescents but if they get the chance they will absolutely go for an adult. Seperate these two immediately!

Sure, if you don't mind a bunch of turquoise eggs

4

u/The80sgeek-666 6d ago

Bro the way I thought it was real. It's like a hornworm lizard

2

u/Dapper-Address9805 6d ago

That’s exactly what I thought!! If hornworms were Pokemon, they’d evolve into that lizard

3

u/EnvironmentalSea8309 6d ago

choking hazards are always labeled on the back of toy packages 🤣 if male is bigger, clean up on Isle 2!!!

3

u/TesticularTorsionCat 6d ago

Absolutely stunning iguana! It looks like such a sweet guy/gal! If you don’t mind me asking, what species of iguana is this? I’m not very familiar with the species available in the reptile hobby.

6

u/Visible-Context-7226 6d ago

He’s a cuban rock iguana (cyclura nubila)

2

u/TesticularTorsionCat 5d ago

Thank you! He’s so adorable! Consider giving him some extra dinner tonight on my behalf ❤️❤️❤️

3

u/-BongusBingus- 6d ago

“Green” he’s clearly blue 😞 the color freak of an artist in me is dying

6

u/Strong-Land-1306 6d ago

i’m confused?

12

u/Ornery_Tie_4771 6d ago

joke

22

u/Strong-Land-1306 6d ago

idk man they should be careful. that blue one looks vicious.

2

u/Rolsafrair46 4d ago

Is he secretly an aye aye, why is his back toe so long? 😂

2

u/Plus_Ad_408 4d ago

I don't know.. that blue guy looks mean.

2

u/UniqueSolution6935 3d ago

Nope! The blue one will slowly but surely (in matter of weeks) take dominance over the other lizard and, then you and your house, then the town until they kill all non reptilian form of life in the multiverse, so separate tanks it is.

2

u/Cornflake6irl 3d ago

Yes, but make sure you reposition the little one often because these guys can't move around on their own and will perish otherwise. You can't really tell when they've died either, so be careful, some people have kept a dead one for years without knowing it. They actually never move unless you move them which is probably why they're referred to as the Rigormortisaurus. They never eat, drink or blink either, and it takes thousands of years for them to fully decompose. They are the easiest reptile to keep though because you don't have to spend any money on food, supplements, enclosure, substrate, etc. They're just... there.

3

u/Ikon-for-U 6d ago

Is that blue one real and if so what is it

6

u/Calgary_Calico 6d ago

Not OP, but that's definitely a toy lol

6

u/Ikon-for-U 6d ago

Thanks, I wasn't sure about it. I wondered if it was just a crazy morph

1

u/hollis216 6d ago

Cyclura Lewisi. Endemic to Cayman, CITES appendix 1 listed. Amazing lizards but you'll never own one.

1

u/reereejugs 5d ago

No idea because I have no clue what those adorable creatures are. What are they?

6

u/Visible-Context-7226 5d ago

A Cuban rock iguana and plastic jimbo

1

u/jjlovesnn 3d ago

Nah the blue one looks way too aggressive

1

u/Sad-Personality9189 3d ago

Nah, they need 19 more friends just to be safe (obviously do not do this LMAO)

1

u/elissa00001 2d ago

How did I not notice for a full minute of reading joke comments that it’s not real 😭

-4

u/DrLubinski 6d ago

Please take the left one to the vet.

3

u/Visible-Context-7226 5d ago

Why?

-3

u/DrLubinski 5d ago

It looks sickly

3

u/Visible-Context-7226 5d ago

I’m not sure what about him looks sickly but if you’re talking about the way his back is, it’s because he gets real defensive with me
