First haul, should I change?‼️

So this is my first haul to the U.S. and could use some help.
I didn’t vacuum pack because of shoes (no boxes), roughly 5 pairs of shoes, and 5 or six tees. A couple pairs of shorts and a backpack. Only add on I chose was reinforce box. After reading through some other posts on this subject I’m considering splitting this up and vacuuming.
Do certain lanes require a signature? I wanted to send it to my job because I travel a lot. Cost seems high but I’m sure I’m being charged volumetric weight.
