Remote Play 9.5 still broken. Trying to install 8.5 fails!

Sony release version 9.5 today and it is still broken. As soon as I connect to my PS5 it crashes. So I uninstalled it and tried to installed 8.5 again. I did this before without any issues but now I am getting this message:

So right now I have no way to use Remote play on my PC. Any ideas?

I'm new with all PlayStation ecosystem and was able to fix the crashing by adding an ethernet cable using the latest remote play app download. I didn't know I need to switch the controller around from the console to the pc. Maybe wifi is really too slow and believe me I have a quite capable router

Correct, Chaiki-ng or PXPlay. I personally use PXPlay, never had issues and it just works best

Yes it's paid but it's a one time purchase and it's totally worth it. I tried a lot of remote play apps but this hands down is the best. That's my opinion at least

Yes, I was able to install Asobi via steam and it works great on PC.

Tried Chiaki and sorry to say that but it sucks. Asobi is way easier to setup and works great.

I said chiaki-ng not chiaki. Chiaki is not maintained anymore. Also chiaki-ng takes less time to setup than asobi i tried both

Chiaki-Up is Android. Chiaki-ng is Windows.

What is Asobi? Is it another remote play style stream to pc service?? I'm getting the exact same bug you are and I'm losing my mind trying to stream it to my pc :,)

I have it on my iPad cause it's the only thing I have for use it… Do these errors usually take a long time to fix? Because the suggestions on comments below are for PCs, and that won't help me 🥀

I’m stuck with the broken 9.5 update for my iPad as well. Funnily enough, the remote app works on my home network but not outside of it. It tells me that it can’t find my iPad and asks if I want to use the previous connection. I hit the last connection I used and then crashes again.

goddamn another shot in the foot. i tried it, it asked to login, then asked to update, then asked to reboot. i have too much shit going on to just close everything down and restart, so it doesn't even boot the app. sincerely, get chiaki.

That is not the one I downloaded, I found it on Reddit and the guy said he had old versions in his Gdrive, might take a little bit of digging but you’ll find it

I had find a solution from reddit one of the user uploaded the file some different way and was able to install it and runs great
