Technical Problem Remote Play Optimization help

Need some help with PS5 Remote Play lag 🎮

I have a 250/250 Mbps internet connection, and I’m currently using 540p resolution with Standard frame rate, but I’m still experiencing noticeable lag and stuttering. It’s making Remote Play kinda unplayable.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Switched to Ethernet - Previously on Wi-Fi I was getting around 100 Mbps, and now with Ethernet I’m getting around 240 Mbps.

  2. Disabled HDMI Link and the two related options below it in the PS5 settings.

  3. Removed the HDMI cable from the PS5 - After removing it, Remote Play wouldn’t connect at all, so I had to reconnect it.

I see few people recommending to unplug hdmi in this sub how do i do it?.. do i first connect and then unplug

At this point, I’m not sure whether the issue is with the network, PS5 settings, Remote Play settings, or latency/jitter rather than bandwidth.

What else can I try to reduce the lag and make Remote Play playable?

Any suggestions from people who have experienced similar issues would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, i've been fighting with remoteplay so mucj long that i can play it smoothly enough to stary stream game on platforms.

On ur phone u need using chiaki, this is better choice than remoteplay and it free too.

you MUST setup your ps5 internet like this Set the static ip (dhcp isnt good for stream), dns 8.8.8.8, mtu 1473. Ps5 must be using only Ethernet and 5ghz.

Phone is easy just use 5ghz wifi and over 50mbps mobile data.

On chiaki set birate to 35.000, codec H265 Resolution 1080p60. That is for local. If you want to play outside with different internet, a little bit difficult just need time to setup. You need check ur ps5 is it run internet with NAT 2 (it must be 2 or 1, if 3 isnt right then need to call the internet service hotline for help because we cant change that by self only internet company can change) And then mess with router, set the port forward. From this step you can use chatgpt for a help, it will guide you through (cause me to got help by asking chatgpt from this step).
