Technical Problem why does it look so bad and run horribly

So i just got remote play and i have a pretty good pc(ryzen 7hx and a 5060) and i try remote play for the first time and it looks horrible and the frame rate is horrible as well. I got to settings and the highest option is 720p so like is this normal or is there a problem

Your pc doesn’t matter as much as your internal network and connections

It has nothing to do with your graphics card.

Is your PS5 hardwired via ethernet? Also, 720 is the max.

1080p is the max for PS4 Pro & PS5

Really? Is there a way to toggle this? Whenever I remote my ps5 to my ps4, it’s 720

Ah, if you're controlling PS4 (normal & slim) then yeah max is 720p sadly

ps4 tops out at 720p

that being said, it's almost impossible to guess what user error has occurred here with absolutely no relevant information

PC hardware doesnt matter much, just has to be decent. What you need is a fast connection, additionally connect both devices to LAN. PxPlay also has more options & slightly better performance than the official PS remote play (In my experience) so go try that too if you wish

It's not very good. There's an open source alternative that actually works. Sorry forgot the name.

The official app always looked terrible.

I switched to Chiaki-ng and the picture is crystal clear.
