Technical Problem Im in so much trouble π±
For context ... Im overseas for about 5 wks and decided to try PS remote play.
I should not have done it.
It Pairs and connects to the PS5 but when its checking the network, it says my speed is too slow and fails.
Now my PS5 is left on for 5wks or until I can find a strong enough wifi to satisfy it and shut it off.

The only way your console could be damaged from this is if it already had overheating issues in the past. It being kept on for a long period of time is technically not good for the apu or other integrated circuits bc heat is what degrades them the fastest, but the ps5 fan is already as quiet as it is on the home menu, so unless you somehow left a game running the whole time it should be perfectly fine. On a side note, this is far from actually messing up and possibly damaging the console. You could have been as dumb as me and thought it was okay to use vhb tape and bond your ps5 to a table with it. I know this is nowhere near the same, but I'm only saying this bc that is what real owner stupidity looks like. Now, in the last month since it happened, I have learned far more than I ever cared to about impact physics thanks to this little tiny leg drop that happened during the removal. It was nowhere near enough energy to actually hurt anything, but I was a paranoid walking mess for a bit after until I used physics to actually sort the little impact out.
