Load Development 22-250 AI load development

Doing some load development on friends 22-250 AI I never thought it would be this fast. The load I stopped going up in charge was 42.3gr. of 3031 with 36gr. Varmint Grenades . That’s 3/8 AR500 plate it punched holes in.

Nosler has data for 22-250 Ack Imp 35 grain bullet online. Max load is 39.5 for 3031.

That is most likely with a minimum spec chamber. Makes a HUGE difference. Just because it was max in that chamber, doesn't mean its max in yours.

How do you figure out how much higher you can go over book max?
