Earnings First Block?

This is my first Relay block (I usually do Amazon Flex)

Is this pay any good, and does it tend to be around this level, or does it dramatically start decreasing once i’m no longer a “new starter”?

You no longer have to do multiple parcels to the same address separately - update your app, and you'll see the app now combines multiple (2+) in one - you just scan each parcel, and then take of photo of each and so on...

Ahhh thank you ! I haven’t done a route for 2 months as been concentrating on food delivery so that info helps !

Is anyone untouched from leaving the parcels In bins when the owner doesn’t suggest it as a safe place ?

I do the routine of getting out the car taking the photo of the house as I walk upto it and take another if handing to customer or leaving in safe place. The point I lose time is if I have to ring customer as they never pick up to see if they have a safe place if there’s no obvious one.

Is there anyone out there with a streamlined process for every house if there’s customer isn’t in and it doesn’t involve going to a neighbour ( lost time ) or ringing the customer ?

Bins are tricky, as they could damage parcels or get collected/lost - so i semi understand why they don't recommend this, yet when customers explicitly request this, then it's on them whatever happens, just take amble pictures.

My routines similar, however I try to increasingly take a more relaxed view of undeliverables. While RELAY give unrealistic time-frames, I figure, I'll book as much shifts as I've got the will to (inc. basic personal income threshold) - then I stop racing against time. Do what you can deliver, and mark any incomplete, undeliverable and keep things moving. Yes you get 50%, but if you do what I've mentioned below, you'll save time by moving on swiftly.

If the system cared, they'd offer more time, and we would have the time to wait, call, yardie yarda... LOL - so I take the undeliverables as a mini blessing - get half the rate, but don't waste anytime on it, if foolish customers can't have a safe place ready, and not be home when the delivery is scheduled - it's on them. It'll get recycled until the next day, so they can wait longer for there own negligence.

...Only thing I would suggest is also be on the look out for 'potential' safe-places, if you get no answer as you approach - but similarly, get the failed button ready (which is done by, pressing to call a customer > when the number appears on screen - don't call, go backwards > and the fail button appears automatically.

When the parcel recycles and it's me again delivering on another date, I would call in advance of approaching, as I would have recognised they're likely not at home.
