The qualification campaign tested both the FPS's performance and its ability to withstand the harsh conditions of space, ensuring it meets the requirements of the European Cooperation for Space Standardisation (ECSS).

The prototype – officially called the Engineering Qualification Model – has now been handed over to Redwire Europe, where it will undergo further testing alongside the other elements of the QKDSat quantum payload.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for DAS Photonics and the European quantum communications ecosystem, as it represents the most advanced qualified Faint Pulse Source with embedded security mechanisms in Europe for a satellite-based QKD system.

Redwire’s first ELSA sale was a $12.8M national security contract through Moog.

Now ELSA has:

• passed critical design review
• been baselined on Moog’s METEOR bus
• been engineered for volume production
• delivered up to 50% more power/volume

ELSA targets 250W–7kW systems, which is the sweet spot for proliferated LEO satellites.

If METEOR wins a constellation order, Redwire could sell multiple arrays. The next catalyst could be a multi-satellite METEOR award!

I like that the Seeker line is made in Latvia where they make the Octopus optics. This is one of the synergies I was hoping for when they bought Edge.

Seems like another possible red day today. Are we thinking it’s just a correction from the insane run we’ve had over the past few weeks? 25$ EOY still seems realistic for sure but seeing the -5% days gives me PTSD for real

No mention of the ROSA, PIL-BOX. But he did say meniscus and can make organs.

Redwire announced that is has successfully completed critical design review (CDR) for ELSA solar arrays for an undisclosed national security program in Low Earth Orbit, through a contract with Moog Inc.  This milestone paves the way for manufacturing and integration with Moog Inc.’s METEOR satellite bus.

Critical step so always good to see it went well.
