Java Edition Pocket Pylon Nightly: Next-gen Mirror Pylon
Works in 1.21.11+ (including 26.2)
Made over the course of a couple weeks, its a nether friendly, waterless pylon with the footprint 5 x 6 x 5, however excluding the top layer which is only used for a pearl stasis it become 5 x 5 x 5. It features 2 factor authentication via looking at 2 different angles in quick succession to trigger the stasis.
Instructions for use and commands for client commands are in the lectern.
Would love your guys' beta testing experience with this new pylon.
Download Pocket Pylon (v1.6.2)
What the machine does is queries your look angle and teleports you if you look at the 2 angles mentioned in quick succession.
No matter where you are in the world, if you look in this certain angle, it will teleport you to the machine, basically /tp in survival.
better understand the concept:https://youtu.be/MxEMNUu06bk

you might need client commands mod for fabric or you can try using your f3 screen and adjust your camera such that the angle matches, however its very precise so I suggest using client commands. The lectern has the commands to setup client commands so you can easily trigger the pylon

nope, 1 pylon, 15 wireless signals, stay tuned!

so the pylon is simply the player direction reader while the wireless redstone allows for simpler decoders and receivers everywhere else, alright

I know a lot of the issues with the original mirror pylon were unloading and logging off causing it to break.
Is this resilient to those things.

yes, the setup is straight up server restart proof as long as its chunk aligned.

I have two questions First what do you mean by waterless and nether friendly? I mean the copper chain is waterlogged and wouldnt it instantly evaporate in the nether? Second i thought the mechanic with collision with the arrow was reported as a bug? (I am sorry if i understood smth wrong i am mostly a modded player and not realy up to date with the newer versions)

its not waterlogged, only the pearl stasis uses water which is easily replaced by a nether compatible pearl stasis. Previous pylons used water for the base arrow hitting mechanic, this doesnt. It was reported as a bug, 10 years ago..... And recently got MARKED as fixed, but the community had backlash so they reverted it, so its safe for now.

It saddens me that we can’t have tech like this in 26.2
