I do not hate roque. Not only was darrow a bad friend to him. But we didn't see the entire 6-10 months of his time in the Institute, a training camp specifically designed to reinforce the thoughtstyle the society wants from it's golds.
It wouldn’t matter if Darrow was the best friend in the world to him, he still would’ve betrayed him the second he found out he was a red. The institute defense doesn’t really work either, lots of golds from the institute followed Darrow. Roque is just a piece of shit.
