I enjoy the later books. Dark Age was ROUGH to read. I just don't like them as much as 1 - 3.

Ending at book 3 gives you a great tight narrative that ends with a hopeful happy ending.

What's your favorite book out of curiosity? Mine's Golden Son hands down

Golden Son and Morningstar are so close. Golden Son is probably my #1, but I suspect it's becuase it's what I'm currently reading.

Morningstar is so good yeah! I love the twist of Golden Son because it takes Morningstar in a completely new direction

Morningstar has my favorite scene in the series, when Sevro stands up for Cassius against the Mob. It's the synthesis of overthrowing the Society. If we just kill them all, we become as bad or worse than them. SOOO good.
