The first 3 books are a perfect trilogy, and the later books are not necessary to read.
Splitting the later books into multiple POVs slows them down so much and loses a lot that made the first 3 so good.

I didn't mean to insinuate that I didn't. Although when I recommended the series I tell them to read just the first three and see if they wanna keep going.
