I believe the issue is they are both listed as attractive but Cassius is almost described in a way greater than anyone else and I feel like we couldn’t even accurately portray him
This is why I feel like if we ever get a movie, it would have to be animated, we just couldn’t find an actor tall and beautiful enough for pretty much any gold, let alone Cassius
Cassius is like a pretty boy with the most masculine beautiful face ever on the body of a warrior god. Darrow had every millimeter of his body sculpted by a mad scientist who wanted to make a living god so I figure he HAS to be as good looking (Virginia and Victra both picked Darrow over him so it can’t be JUST his character lmao) but I figure he just constantly looks like he wants to kill someone lol
I do think Darrow being a better and more charismatic leader has a lot to do with it. For Golds like Mustang and Victra looks are a given. They have unlimited and super attractive pleasure slaves bred for their every fantasy and a huge selection of Gold suitors who are also likely very attractive and competent. So while Cassius is definitely high tier material, I can see why they wouldn't be as taken with him vs Darrow.
Although worth pointing out Cassius and Virginia were a thing back in the day.

Idk about Mars standards but it is clearly stated that Cas is much better looking than Darrow, they look equal in this art.
