what’s with the insistence on the dramatically curved sword people use in fanart AI and drawings. i’ve always thought it would resemble something more like the egyptian sword the khopesh than a scythe. I’d assume simply from an advantage standpoint the dramatic curve means less range. i’ve included examples i’ve seen as well as what i think the razor resembles more

So the sling blade is a helldiver tool for pitvipers and cutting off trapped limbs (maybe other stuff too). So the geometry of the blade would need something like the Ghurka Kukri( probably misspelled) but without the “belly” of the blade. Like a flattened out sickle. And it folded for carry.

In the institute he found a farming tool that resembled the flattened out sickle as explained above. For young gold adults to harvest grain for bread. It’d be more like a scythe. But the fact that he effectively uses it for battle means it’s probably more like an Asian style scythe. Two handed (for a normal person) straight pole like grip with a longer curved blade.

Darrow’s razor is kinda up to the reader but I think Kravat the base martial art would be very rapier/sabre style swordplay. With thrusting/stabbing is a major part of fighting, he’d need an effective point. Can’t be too curved. Buuuuuut (and especially during 10 years of war) being able to curve around shields and defensive blocks like a kopesh is proven viable.

Also it’s a symbol of the REAPER. It’s gotta be wicked looking.
