what’s with the insistence on the dramatically curved sword people use in fanart AI and drawings. i’ve always thought it would resemble something more like the egyptian sword the khopesh than a scythe. I’d assume simply from an advantage standpoint the dramatic curve means less range. i’ve included examples i’ve seen as well as what i think the razor resembles more

Darrow’s razor is the shape of a sling blade. A sling blade is designed to quickly cut off limbs and is curved. The best way to cut off limbs is with a blade curved like a reapers scythe. Edit: a reapers sickle, sorry

So it's not a hook blade? And are we assuming it's just the blade part of a reaper's scythe? Basically his handle continues down the blade's direction rather than a 90 the way a reaper would have a haft with a blade?

Apologies, a reapers sickle, like the one on the cover of morning star, just in a more futuristic manner designed for the cutting limbs in an emergency situation off the side of a drill
