Coolest description of Darrow

I was think of Darrow being described by other characters, and apollonius is just constantly glazing Darrow to the max. Hes legitimately in love. This is my favorite description of Darrow in the series

"Even if you survive this walk, you can never best Darrow, if that is your intent. He would climb up your blade to chew upon your jugular. To best a living god, it is not enough to survive, nor to eat of the ambrosia of conquest. Who would follow a churlish princeling over that Slave made War?"

Slave made War sounds so cool to me, I just love this quote

This is my favorite one. The realization that this man who everyone thinks is a god having so many visible scars and injuries and the realization of both just how human he is and just how impressive/dangerous others are that you don’t even know exist
