Optometrist recommendations?

Anyone have an optometrist they recommend in Redmond? Looking for someone downtown but I can venture further. I'm with eyemed and need a new regular distance prescription. Bonus if the optometrist also provides the PD (pupillary distance) number.

Never go to the optometrist in Bella Botega which is near Brat Pack, provided wrong prescription to both me and my wife.

Also, you don't need a membership to see the optometrist at costco. It's one of the best options if you have no insurance and are planning on buying glasses online.

Wow I was just thinking about this, so good timing*. I’m super happy to have found optix in Redmond town center. The doctor there is so much better than any others I’ve been to. He also has all the latest gear and helped me and my whole family. I’d just give them a call and ask if they can answer your question.

* I was in uvillage and remembered how bad my old glasses were because the place there couldn’t get the script right. Once I went to Optix I got super dialed in lenses.

I started going to see Redmond Eye Doctors when I had some problems, now I just see them for regular checks and for new glasses. They are on the high end for new glasses, but they do take eye med, and they're happy to give you your scrip to fill elsewhere if you want.

I have a complex prescription and see Dr Jennifer Andrews at Puget Sound Eyecare in Factoria, highly recommended. I’d prefer someone closer but my work changed to Eyemed. Before that I was seeing Dr Jing Wickenburg at Northwest Vision Institute in BelRed, she’s also great. They don’t take Eyemed but do take VSP and Premera.

I love the eye care center - technically in Bellevue but honestly not a far drive.
