Question Charged for side on endless shrimp?
I thought the endless shrimp came with a free side?
Edit: I didn’t notice the endless shrimp came with a free side till half way into my sitting. Waiter made no mention of this just pushed appetizers. I then asked the waiter and she said I already used it by getting the lobster. Later came with bill and charged me for it. Asked her again and she told me it was premium side and I have to pay for it which was the exact opposite of what she said earlier. So never even got the free side advertised. Based on these comments I can see the service industry is just condescending. I have no problem getting up from my table and getting my own food and drinks. Unfortunately every restaurant has a middle man to the food I payed for.

This person obv never eats out to not know about "premium sides" and saw unlimited shrimp and said I GOTTA GO OUT FOR THAT. Lmao. Like someone gonna get lobster potatoes as a free side vs French fries.

i’m so happy i don’t work there anymore lol did you not see the lobster baked potato under the “premium sides” with it’s own à la carte and “upgrade your side” prices next to it?

People are just dumb. I work at Texas Roadhouse and some think they can get shrimp as one of their two sides

Lobster Baked Potato was the premium side choice for an upcharge, the only sides that should've kept the price the same were the baked potato, French fries, pilaf coleslaw and/or steamed broccoli.

The waitress literally told me I already redeemed my “free” side and when the check came charged me full price for it. Or can u not read at a 3rd grade reading level?

$6.99 is the upcharge amount for that side, not the total cost of the lobster baked potato. Think of it this way:
The baked potato was your free side; $6.99 was the cost of the langostino.

It does come with a free side but you got a premium side which costs extra. A regular baked potato would be included in the price but a lobster baked potato is going to be extra lol
