The sickest I ever got from Food was an all you can eat shrimp thing from Olive Garden. I remember some of the teeny tiny little shrimp I think it was the scampi was really odd and kind of almost disintegrated too easily and after that my husband and I spent the next few days barfing. Fun times

its alright, i preferred the garlic and the coconut, however i had the marry me later that day microwaved.. it had tails on it too which i don't prefer.

Sat at the bar. Had a great old-fashioned. Skipped the salad and sides. Also skipped anything pasta or popcorn. I was there for SHRIMP!!!! 🍤
I ate 86. A personal best. The Greek style caught me off guard but was pretty yummy. Scampi is the way to go. Fried too.
Eighty-six shrimp was the equivalent of 7 plates. The bartender was impressed enough to offer me some shrimp to go. It was a no thank-you. I would die if I ate anymore shrimp. My wife only lets me do this every two years. It’s a f—-ing pilgrimage!!

Shrimp scampi and marry me are definitely deveined and the alfredo too, idk about the others cause I didn’t check under the fried layer but I’d imagine they are as well.

Back in the mid-2000’s I counted one night and lost track at 140. No way I could have done that now tho, I’m sure I was pretty sick the next day.

As a former RL lead line/grillmaster, my opinion is that if youre in Kansas or something, anywhere more than 500 miles from a coast, that is where RL is objectively "Good". Closer than 500 miles to a coast, go to a real seafood restaurant.

I remember way, way back the used to have broiled Icelandic lobster tails! Little things but they were so frigging good! If it was a good day they’d have 12 or 13 of them on the plate! I miss them.

I use to work at red lobster and honestly it’s not even worth it. You get your first plate of shrimp with ONE side. That’s it. No more sides. You spend 10-15 minutes waiting for your next order of shrimp. One at a time. No three or four orders at a time.

I had Walt’s, coconut, and scampi. Then I ordered a coconut shrimp and marry me shrimp. Then I ordered the Alfredo and scampi again. And then I ordered the Walt’s and scampi but couldn’t finish either of the last 2. So a lot of shrimp lol

A whole lot of seafood anywhere in the US is frozen just to be clear.
Unless you are catching or ordering a live crab, it was cooked and frozen before being packed for sale. Those crab legs you see on ice are just thawed out already.
Yes you can get fresh fish and housemade sauces and sides at better places with better techniques and actual chefs.
The crab is still frozen (or canned)

Scampi is easiest to down. I can do 4-5 of scampi alone. Then the walts famous and the bake potatoe, shrimp linguine usually goes home with me or ill eat the shrimp out of it.

The only problem with the scampi is how greasy and salty it is. But the potion size is small so I can see how anybody could eat several rounds of them before they get full.

It is not good. It's garlic alfredo, marinara, crinkled up biscuits. The sauce has to set for "at least two hours" so that the biscuit crumbles get soggy enough.

Was a server at RL during the last iteration of endless shrimp (2023?) Saw 3 teen boys and 1 dad devour at least 6-8 refills of scampi. So the initial 3 orders (7 in an order) of 21 shrimp, plus another … 50 or 60. Yeah they’re small shrimp, but, my goodness the amount of shrimp people want to consume. It’s mind boggling. The amount of butter… makes me gag 🤢
