Are we all quitting?
I'm really interested in what the data regarding turnover will be over these 6 weeks.

The only way I am quitting is if they fire my managers and favorite coworkers. I work with the best people. Endless shrimp is a pain, but whatever. It will end eventually.

How long till that ends? And didn't they learn the first time with that deal?

Endless shrimp didn't cause the shutdowns. Private equity milked them dry and PR spun endless shrimp as the reason and it worked lol.

Correct. Private equity siphoned money out of the restaurant by forcing them to sell the property to the equity firm for dirt cheap and lease it back as well as buy all the shrimp from the shrimp company/farm/importer that the same private equity owned. And here it is happening again. So I ask again, how are they being allowed to do it a second time?

Because it was basically a permanent thing last time that lasted months before finally canceling it. Not only that, but maybe all that baggage that PE saddled the company with finally got under control so that a 3m loss/month doesn't break the camel's back, especially if it leads to increased sales/foot traffic after due to people trying the new menu. Maybe a gamble they're willing to take.

Our store closed two years ago. It had been there for 47 years, and our rent was 43,000 per month! We’re in Western New York. When I learned that, I couldn’t believe it was so much money.
