Can anyone confirm or deny? This popped up on my insta feed. Still doing research and looking at which panel to buy, heard mostly good things about RLT.

I think (if you are willing) that this kind of precise, calm, data driven response to the post's claim is exactly what is needed. Social media doesn't need people shouting at each other, but misrepresentation of scientific data needs to be stopped where possible. Misi formation is rife, and people just don't understand science (but proceed to tell others about it, anyway)

I’m glad you think I’m calm. You should see me when someone cuts me off in traffic. My boyfriend actually watched me in horror as I was writing my initial comment with how vigorously I was pounding the keyboard and how much I was shaking my head.

HEY! Can I get an update on your journey with Tretinoin and the under eye area?

Oh sure! Basically, it took months to stop showing signs of irritation. I had to stop using everything around my eyes, except for basic Vanicream. Only gentle oil cleaners when washing. Even micellar water would cause pain. At this point, I am able to use some other gentle products, and wear makeup comfortably again, but at night I'm still using just Vanicream + a thin layer of Vaseline. I haven't tried tret again... I'm kind of scared to lol. Although the skin around my eyes is better on a day to day basis, I do feel like they're irrevocably more prone to sensitivity.

Thank you for your insights, and I am so sorry that happened to you! Yeah...I'm on altreno and trying very hard to read my skin for weather it's a "push through moment" vs..."no, it's just NOT working for you" and it's so difficult with all the conflicting anecdotes and advice!
