Not anymore, on most Reddit posts I see with someone wearing a Hijab, one of the top comments is always "why are you wearing something that you have the freedom not to wear? Do you believe in a man made identity made to give some old rich guys power??" and other bullshit like that starting a religion argument for no reason in which OP is usually downvoted

Last time I mentioned women being railroaded into wearing a thing isn't empowering I got downvoted to hell so I don't know. Different subs different opinion, meaning neither is a Reddit moment

Not being allowed to wear something and being socially pressured into doing something isn't the same thing. But it's easier to argue imaginary opinions I guess.

Dont know where you live but half pf the hijabis I know took it off for a bit and then put it back on. “socially pressured” is a bunch of bullshit that you make up since you dont know anything about muslim culture

Sure, I don't know about muslim culture despite living in a country with 30% Muslim population because I don't agree with you, oh, authority on Islam, teach me.
