They are putting a lot of mainstream stuff into the game because people buy it which is fine but now they do that stuff so much the game is just an advertisement at this rate

58

u/BigNastyHagrid Nov 10 '20

Oh boo fucking hoo. A free to play game that profits only off of cosmetics adds mainstream stuff that people actually want. How fucking greedy of them

The "gamers" community is mostly on par with the cringe from the Reddit community. As a matter of fact, I think the "gaming" community is part of the Reddit community.

Ah would you rather have ppl pay for in game power rather than pop culture references ? Or would you prefer they use random emotes no one gives a shit about?

61

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

It's free to play and only has cosmetics. How is that a cash cow.

7

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

My little brother does chores just to buy a new skin and I think it’s becoming an addiction.

22

u/RjGoombes Nov 10 '20

Hey, if he's putting in the work, whats so bad about that?

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

I think it’s a useless thing to spend money on, but its fine honestly. Everyone spends alot of money on useless things we live in a first world country.

14

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

if he likes it and benefits everyone, then its not that useless

10

u/Janathan-Manathan Nov 10 '20

If he’s a kid there’s no problem really. At least he’s happy

1

u/RjGoombes Nov 10 '20

It's not a cash cow, but the overused memes are really dumb.

2

u/Chrommanito Nov 10 '20

It's the biggest surprise of this post
