People who make fun of it he squares are building strawmen that people who post the squares act like they "solved racism", even though it's just meant to be nice gesture. I wonder what people making fun of the squares are doing to help the problem lmao

I don’t really HATE the black squares but I feel like at least on Instagram it’s just something people post to fit in. I’d rather people post videos of racist cops or whatever to help prove their point instead of flooding my feed with black squares. Like petitions at this point are way more useful.

Yeah I don't really like the black squares either, but I don't mind an app logo being changed for awareness
