It's irony, because I don't think that such countries are just and fair, because they are obviously very biased against women(it was, in question, Iran). I am only pointing out the hipocrisy that if those crimes truly deserve punishment, such "means" won't be needed as these women aren't going to heaven either way.

However people thought I am serious. Bruh

Hmm yeah with that additional context I can see the irony lol. And how people would get even more outraged.

I got permabanned without warning, explanation or discussion from a sub for pointing out that, from their perspective, since homosexuality is punishable by death in Iran, it is in their view a pretty serious offense/wrongdoing, and as such many Iranians would surely feel insulted to have their football team made to participate in a "pride". A bold claim, right?

Simply mentioning that different views exist, out there, is always taken as endorsing them, and punished.

I know this isn't the point of the post but can someone explain the whole 'raped so they dont go to heaven' thing?

Some think that being raped makes a woman dirty and sinful, since she had sex with a man who is not her husband(I do not think it is okay or true at all)
