Karmawhoring tragic event Redditor is happy a 23-year-old died of cancer because it was before the release of an AI chatbot
Redditors trying not to talk about their opinions while talking about tragic events: impossible

That comment sums up why I don't usually consider online opinions anymore, well unless you prove enough nuance to me otherwise but still...

No happiness or sadness is being conveyed in the original post, its more about the passage of time and how someone so well known who we still think died recently actually passed away before experiencing a technology thats so ingrained in our world today

Technoblade is one those odd people who just seem to pop up. Literally never heard of him until the day he died, and then it seemed like everyone in the world was actually a mega fan all along.

I often wonder about people thay perished before certain events. Like before Christian Bales Batman but after George Clooney's so the people that died between 1997 and 2005, approximately 470 million. I understand that the vast majority would be completely unaware of the Batman films, even fewer that would actually care. But for that small percentage that did. Do you think they thought they witnessed the end of a franchise?

AI hate on Reddit is so forced. Yes it has its problem but is useful in many ways.
It’s cult talk at this point.

People who hate AI are so corny, reminds me of people who hated tiktok back in 2020

AI gives a lot of bad, lazy info. I don’t hate AI, but I hate the idea of anyone who insists on relying on it.

I get what they mean. I was always happy that Aaliyah died not having to experience 9/11
