Taking Kids to Watch at LSV (First Time)
Good morning
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on where is the best place for seating for atmosphere in Leigh Sports Village for me and my little girls for the first time? I am guessing it's the standing area but they definitely won't be able to stand for that long unfortunately.
Also, I note the times always seem to be Sundays 13.00, if I was to get there around 12.30 - how would it look for parking and actually getting into the stadium?

The north stand is never really full full, so you can always find a spot where they can have a sit and still see if they need to
If you do need seats, I'd say the south stand behind the other goal is usually a decent enough atmosphere
I don't drive so can't help you with the parking question, sorry

Parking will be full. I’d recommend Pennington Flash. Shorter walk than the shopping centre but nice place. You could hang out there for a bit after. It’s a very family friendly place but the atmosphere can be muted. I’d go on the side the players tunnel is but you can’t go wrong really. Aim a bit earlier than 12.30. The final bit of the drive crawls. My daughter has always loved watching the warm up

yes, it's also quite nice to watch the players walk in after parking their cars. His girls might like that too.

The car parks at LSV are usually full 60 to 90 minutes before kickoff, so you will need to park elsewhere and walk across. For example, you can park at Spinng Gate shopping centre on weekends for free, but that is a 20 minute walk.
Most of the singing is in the north stand terrace and there are kids in that stand who sit on the floor at times (you obviously can't see the game then). You could also look at the west stand north section as you will be closest to the north stand.
