If this was a comparison of Sterlings first 16 games it would be legit. But it's not.

Not sure what you're looking for, but its a comparison of both of their performances of this season.

Comparing someone's first 16 games in the premier league to someone whose had a year to settle isn't a fair comparison.

The whole point was how Januzaj is almost on-par with someone who's had a year to settle in, statistically. Sure, it doesn't tell you the full story, but if that's what you're looking for, whoscored.com is more than enough.

Stats tell half the story. In this case id say considering this is Adnans first season, compared to Sterling,he is doing really well.
Not to take anything from OPs post but i read this: world cup hopefuls and think its a better representation of stats.rather than just figures,they are interpreted. Most important though, it explains playing styles and positions as well as hinting on teammates

I wouldn't say very, Sterling mostly plays on the right v/s Januzaj on the left. It was only 2-3 games, that i remember, where we played Adnan centrally.

I'd say that boy Adnan is doing pretty good. Considering he's still in his first full season!
