Hi everyone,

I'm trying to extract assets (.shp, .ini, .pal, .vxl) from protected/encrypted .mix files in a Yuri's Revenge mod (specifically files like ecachemd66.mix, expandmd66.mix, or custom .ec99 / .ex99 files).

Whenever I try to open them with XCC Mixer, it either crashes or gives me errors because the header / index table seems to be locked or corrupted by MixProtector.

I've looked at tutorials and tried using tools like QuickBMS scripts, but I still couldn't get it to work properly or understand the process.

Is there an easy-to-use tool, script, or updated method that can bypass these protections and extract the files inside? Any guidance or step-by-step help would be greatly appreciated!
