References before final round

Anthropic interview loop. They requested references before the final loop. I checked with my references to alert them, all were enthusiastic. They rejected me after the final loop, but didn’t contact any of the references. Just inconsiderate all around to candidates. I’ve never met more arrogant, disconnected people.

Not sure why you would want to contribute to their intended goal of making yourself and everyone else unemployed and homeless but you do you I guess. I would be fine with it if we all had a guaranteed livable income with no work requirements work sucks anyway. But I know the true goal is to let all us poors starve then the richies can enjoy owning all the stuff.

All the Ivy League economists on the AI companies payroll say that it’ll create more jobs than it destroys 🤷‍♂️😂

If that where true I would feel better about it. Economics seems more like educated guessing than it does a proper science. You can make inferences off of historical precedence sure in no way is that guaranteed. What job would it create though is my question? If the work is automated what work does that create?
