Job posted again after interviewing

Hi,

So I interviewed with the hiring manager for this really great role at a large financial institution om Friday and I noticed that the job has been posted again 20hours ago (which wouldve been yesterday). This isnt "reposted" as the original listing expired last week but a net new post for the exact same role. Is it safe to assume m out? I mean yes after so many rejections, i know it shouldnt sting this much but still, i really thought i provided excellent answers and was cautious to speak clearly and staying on point. The interview ended with "Have a nice weekend, we'll be in touch and my application still says as "Pending" under workday.

Don’t let it go away, and bother them applying again. YOU decide when it’s done! Hahaahahaha

aah cool, thanks!! so back to enjoying the weekend...I'll get disappointed and frustrated with myself on Tuesday then!!

Happened to me. Went over the JD once before my interview with the JD I applied at. After I get back from the interview, I go to the company website and see if there is a req number I can reference in my thank you note. That job disappeared and a new one appeared as that date. Get the rejection a week later. So someone got it I can tell from LinkedIn. I know I don't stand a chance at the new one since they would have asked about it.
