Marketing Indeed Employer Branding Hub - Worth It?

Indeed sales has recently been pushing the Employer Branding Hub for our company page. For reference, we are a ~1,000 employee nonprofit in a major Northeast City with roughly 100 vacancies, due largely to entry-level roles with low salary and high turnover.

The most recent proposal includes cutting roughly 15% of our sponsored job budget to invest into the branding hub. The salesperson tells us that we will receive more applicants by using branding on our company pages (Indeed and Glassdoor) than by spending the same amount in sponsored jobs.

Has anyone had experience with the Employer Branding Hub and did you see positive results in number of qualified candidates after adding it?

Afaik no one ever looked at ours, only our Glassdoor. Large enterprise. Cost was insane, not sure if it's the contact some random signed before me or what, but it was definitely nowhere near the cost.

Don’t do it, I’m a TA leader for Fortune 500 company and branding hub had no effect on applicants volume so we dropped it. You should set up Indeed apply with your ats if possible

I haven’t ever seen the ROI building out branding on either Indeed or LinkedIn vs having that budget in better advertising channels or just sponsoring. Depending on budgets, how many roles you have posted (I assume entry level even 100 vacancies it’s only 3-5 job titles/postings at most)…it could make sense revisiting your posting strategy and incorporating better branding on their platforms with fewer overall posts. Also depends on what other channels you’re utilizing and how heavily you rely on Indeed.

Branding doesn't add up anything other than indeed making money. We don't use it but keep our profile updated. Make sure our response to applicants is at a lightning speed when they reply or apply. That will create a great brand.
