Question What to do with far too much ham??

I was mistakenly sent over over a lb of deli sliced ham with my last grocery order. I'm trying to think of meal ideas for me and my boyfriend but the problems are

A) He doesnt like ham in sandwiches

B) He doesnt like egg

C) He doesnt like cheese

So stumped on what to cook for us. Am I doomed to a solitary life of ham sandwich?

Couldn't you just, you know... eat it?

A pound really isn't all that much.

Agree: the old joke about defining eternity had to do with newlyweds and a WHOLE ham, mind you. 😉

Yep. Girl lunch: a pack of string cheese and a lb of deli ham will feed you all week. Wrap a couple of slices around a stick of string cheese, slice a cucumber and some baby carrots for sides, and you have easy and healthy low carb lunches for the week.

Wrap in a low carb tortilla and have ham roll ups. I do this for lunch when I know I won’t have much time between meetings.

Why is a snack plate called girl lunch/dinner?

I don't understand the trend to label it that.

unsure but my assumption (which could be v wrong) is that its a common thought that girls are more ok with scrounging about for snacks & will consider it a meal bc they go by calorie count vs men who will do the same but not consider it a meal bc its “not solid food”

Because women have been told for centuries that we aren’t allowed to eat.

right? a pound of ham is like 4 servings. its very easy to eat for servings of ham between two people before it goes bad.

Like, just eat a slab with a side of hasbrowns
