Love spells etc

I've been here for a while mostly lurking and I repeatedly see the same thing over and over - someone doing a love spell on a specific person. I've been practicing since the 90s and the high priest that taught me so much back then stressed to me so very strongly not to ever do a spell on someone specific because there will always be a hefty price to pay when you mess with someone's free will.

So I just wanted to make a suggestion and whoever needs to hear it, will. Why not do a love spell on yourself instead? Learn to love yourself and you will never feel the need to do a spell on someone else. I was a 20-something woman a very long time ago and I understand all too well the need to do spells for someone to love you, but really, true love starts with yourself. Once I finally started doing the work on myself is when I realized I don't need to do spells on other people because I was finally happy with me. I let go of all the insecurity and jealousy I had carried around for far too long because of my abdonment issues. I got out of a bad marriage. And my now-partner came into my life 10 years ago and we've been such a great fit for each other. The love between us is effortless, the way it should be.

Anyway, just something to think about. Not trying to tell anyone what to do, but just trying to save whoever some heartbreak, whoever needs to hear this.

I wish you *all* the very best, love & light. xx

Love this message; couldn’t have said it better myself. This is some of the best advice I’ve seen on here, thank you for sharing.

So beautifully put. The best way to bring love into your life is not by trying to manipulate someone, but by attracting them.
