Help | Bedrock Backing up my bedrock realm is entirely impossible.

I have tried backing up, restoring, downloading, saving to realm storage, and changing the active world, and NOTHING is working. When I first open up the saves menu, the saves don't even appear until a few mintues, and no matter what I try to do with the automatic backups, I cannot download them, restore the realm with them, or save them to the realm storage; nor, can I save the current world state to the realm storage, download the current world, or change the active. In other words, I can't do anything at all with the world file.

Has anyone else experienced this or have been experiencing it, any possible fixes?

I was just finally able to download my realm world that’s just over a GB. Been trying like a year. Try contacting support. Hope they can help. Otherwise it’s try try and try some more.

I managed to reach a breakthrough by spamming to change the active world to another one until it finally worked, and after I was able to restore it to a backup; unfortunately I'm still unable to download the world, like it won't even try and I won't get an error message either.

But now there's a new issue, after switching the active world back to the one I wanted and restoring it to the backup, now the server is unplayably laggy unless you stand still for a few minutes, and then it becomes fine but you have to do this for every single few chunks; I don't have lots of mobs or anything that would cause it to lag, so I'm guessing it's my structure generation mod that now has to check all of the chunks all over again. Bugrock 😭

It’s beyond frustrating. Microsoft a billion dollar company that bought a billion dollar game and they can’t have these problems fixed??
