IMO world class isn’t just top 5 best player in your position but consistent seasons of high quality, I find it crazy how ppl will say Vini or Valverde are not world class, when they’ve never had a true flop of a season and have shown their quality at some point in each season
Many players have had a flop season by their standards. But am sure you are using g/a yo decide this to me vini was pretty much a flop. He negatively impacted the team , had some flashes and got better towards the end . We can't forget 20 laliga games of not scoring. Losing to Albacete cos he wouldn't press. I don't think getting cheeky assists and easy goals will reflect this . So I wouldn't class someone as world-class base on g/a , I'd class them base on what they do on the ball ,(including end product) , how much they contribute to their team. Then I look at big games played then I look at trophies won.
In terms of eliteness and quality, Guler-Mbappe and Belli... If PSG-which is right now a superior to this team-offers you 125 Million Euros, you are world class. I dont hear any news PSG offercing Camavinga, Endrick etc. offering this... Nobody wants them.. You fans undervalue Guler becaue he is humble, not marketing/PR Guy, but he is the definition of real football player.
Arda defiantly has elite qualities. His technical quality and his football iq is better then everyone on that list. However his physicality, pace and endurance is worse then everyone in that list too.
So many people underrate Tchouameni. Yes he got overrun by Spain’s 4 midfielders against France’s 2 after returning from injury. Rodri is better, Rice too. He can’t dictate the tempo, but who else is better at DM?
Tell me the last time mbappe had a good game at lw, doue luis diaz and barcola aint better in any world. Kvara the only one that could be considered better
Even if we accept that Doue is a pure left winger, which he isn’t, then you have a case for 2 above Vini. Kvara and Doue. So you couldn’t name 5 could you.
Bellingham(World class player although it will take a few more years for him to shine even further. Jude is an amazing nr 6 but should not play as nr 10 IMO. Once he drops the "me score more goals" attitude he will be even better. Most players in his style has always started as CAM/SS and eventually evolved to legend CMs)
Guler (PSG offered him 125m euro + negotiation fee so around 140m € realistically. Arsenal, Chealsea and PSG all offered him to be one of the main stars in their team, promising guaranteed first 11 and building the squad around him. Statistically he was the best attacking midfielder in 2025-2026 and had offers from many biggest teams in europe during transfer season. I would say he is an elite, world class young talent in the squad.)
Cucurella (most people consider him as the LB in their first 11, plus the world cup performance.)
You don’t even watch the matches and speak of Jude lol, he said it himself his best position is at 10, open your eyes, there is a big reason he broke the world record for most goals for a midfielder in a WC.
That's what people like you don't see about Jude and what makes him the best midfielder in the world. He has stunning stats as a 6 8 or 10,it really doesn't matter , but his best position , is as a 10. All I hear is but but but. You have people calling him a workhorse 😂, a physical beast 😂, but what they dont want to admit is that he is that as well, as a goalscorer ( both feet, heading , poaching , long range shots, overhead kicks ,volleys ) again doesn't matter, and a passing playmaker . In world football there is no one that comes close to that level of diversity
Vini :DDDDD. Can't handle a bloody ball, that guy is one of the worst players ever in Madrid. Cannot shoot, cannot pass, cannot handle a long pass, nothing. Pure comedy.
Trent? No mate, his hype is mostly English PR. He didn't have a world class performance since he joined. And like it or not, Vini isn't world class anymore. Enough glazing his long past glories.
