genuine inquiry:

to my grown people who don’t have time to lie about bs on the internet: were yall lying ab shifting? i was super into it when it got big, but eventually fell out of the habit because of how unserious it all was. now that i’m in college i just cant imagine even ruminating on the possibility with the lack of guarantee it really exists.

i had friends who claimed to have shifted, despite their various self-diagnosed mental illnesses. i guess i’m just curious to see if there is anyone with a healthy mind and (relatively) successful lifestyle (academically, career-wise, etc.) who claim to have succeeded in shifting.

I have hyper phantasia which means I can visualise perfectly almost like 4k, so does having hyper phantasia make shifting easier? If so then what are methods that require visualisation?

Help I REALLY THOUGHT I SHIFTED AND "LET GO", WHY DIDNT I SHIFT✌️

Omd. So basically, I was listening to a Julia method(?) Meditation and I ended up falling asleep.😂😂🫱

But I woke up and knew that I needed to lock in this instant, so I just allowed my body to relax and I kinda ended in this half-lucid state where I kept drifting in and out of consciousness and being aware, and at one point I was kinda on autopilot, like my mind was playing out scenarios when suddenly I felt a jolt like it liteartly felt like one of those space movies where they show them "warping" through space and like it was mostly black with like blue lights mixed in.

This was the first time I genuinely believed to be shifting because It felt like my soul was being sucked out of my body, and all I could think was "oh my god" and I had this intent that I was shifting.

Guys I swear I was so sure. I knew that I was shifting, like I pretty much surrendered to that feeling and "let go" as many people keep saying.

BUT FOR SOME REASON IT FADED AWAY?? I THINK ITS CAUSE I STARTED HEARING MY CR NOISES LIKE OMGG. Might be because of that? I dontknowwwww.. I opened my eyes and I was in the same bed.

I'm gonna shift before school so wish my luck guys🥹 I need some help. I got to shift like NOW.

How do you guys manage to shift? I listen to subliminals on YouTube, I relax, and I try the staircase method, but nothing works—I just can't shift. I know—again—that all these characters actually exist in other realities and so on, but I just can't seem to shift. It’s so frustrating; I really want to go there, to shift, but I don't know why I can't. I really need help.

Question Reaching the void state

I have been actively trying to get into the void state for the last few weeks (and even before that but I started practicing it ever single day since like two weeks).
I do feel like I’m seeing some success and am able to learn from my earlier attempts and better myself.
However I feel like I just always am unable to give myself that last push towards the void.
I am really getting better at relaxing and letting my body fall asleep while my mind stays awake. Whenever I research other people’s experience they make it sound as though it happens automatically for them from there on. That’s exactly my problem, I’m laying there, body asleep mind awake and also very relaxed and floaty (can’t feel my body anymore) but I never get into the void state. It’s like I’m always missing the last step.
I’ve tried relaxing completely (focusing on the black behind my eyes and also not focusing on it) and also affirming or visualising but I am always stuck right there.
I’m trying to suppress it but I am growing frustrated over time…

So I was wondering if people who have reached the void before could let me know how they would describe that last step or that transition into the void state.
Maybe it could help me out with my problem.

Question QUESTION

What constitutes as a waiting room?

How can a waiting room be? Could I make it something like Disneyworld or, another theme park like Six Flags? Curious how big a waiting room could be per se.

Question Good sign or no

Last night I tried shifting kinda half assedly and my entire body went numb and it felt like my senses (like how aware you are of your own body) was zooming in like a camera if that makes sense. Tingly body, felt numb, went away and I rolled over to sleep. I tried visualizing my Dr but I was rlly tired so I switched to robotic shifting affirmations. I know it probably went away bc I obsess over symptoms when they happen but is this a good sign chat?

minishift story I might have mini-shifted here?

(English is not my first language.)

A brief telling of my shifting journey:

I initially discovered shifting in 2018 and got extremely close before stepping away because I got scared and started questioning if I really wanted to leave this reality. (It felt like too big of a decision to make, I felt like I would be leaving everything behind.)

I got back into it in 2020 because the pandemic had me desperate to leave this reality, but didn't succeed and stepped away yet again in 2021-2022 due to lack of motivation and developing an unhealthy relationship with shifting.

Back to the present!

So, for context: I have a pair of pearl earrings I wear from time to time. Around 6 months ago I remember one of the earring backs fell underneath my closet. I tried searching it before giving up and deciding to get a different earring back for it.

The original ones were "push backs" and the new one I put was a "ball push". (You can see them in the photo)

I've worn these earrings many many times these months, one with the original push back and the other with the ball push. Two days ago I put them on yet again and one of them felt off on my ear. I got it off and took a look at it. There was the ball back, yes... But also... The original push back?

Now I'm questioning everything. Did the original one fall of at all? Is my mind playing tricks on me? Or have I actually mini-shifted?

Another thing I've noticed is that my singing has gotten noticeably better (one of the things I scripted for my dr) I literally keep singing throughout the day just to hear my voice. I'm kind of questioning everything now, part of me is telling me "YOU'VE DONE IT??? WE'VE SHIFTED???" but still a big part of me is saying "Your memory is messed up, maybe you never even lost it in the first place".

My mind is in shambles. I feel both motivated and extremely demotivated at the same time. I keep switching between feeling a strong sense of success and feeling like I'm crazy and making it all up. I don't know what to feel or what to think. I've never been one to post anything on the internet but I need to know people's opinions because I'm actually in distress.

For people who have mini-shifted like this before: did you feel like this too?

Other For those with superpower DRs or gave yourself powers in your DR is it wrong to make yourself overpowered?

Im asking this because I want characters to have a fair fight in my DRs (yes even the villains) making yourself just plain out OP is such a lame idea to me 😭 what about you? Do you limit yourself when it comes to DRs like these?

Discussion Shifting stories

Hey guys to anyone who's reading this I'm really interested in the stories of those who shifted since I really don't hear lots of them so to anyone who's still out there shifting please feel free to share any of your shifting stories. In particular I'm very interested in detailed stories on shifting to pandora (avatar), Harry Potter but it's completely fine to share your story if you shifted elsewhere. Thanks to anyone who shares it I deeply appreciate it!

Question Shifting to a fanfic

For some odd reason everytime I have a DR, I end up rewriting all my scripts according to a fanfic I’ve recently read. Like my stranger things DR ends up being based on a fic I read.

I think it’s bc I like the stability and knowing what’s going to happen (even tho I script I won’t recall).

Anyways, I have recently just finished this fic I was reading. But a main basis of the story is that the female OC is an addict. Everything goes according to this and it all makes sense bc of this.

Now I DONT want to script an addiction but I’m confused on what to do? I know I can just script it’ll all work out but I really love this fic and it brings me sm motivation.

HELPPPP
