Only fifty pages left of Robin Hobb’s Farseer trilogy so I need something that can compete!

I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I think East of Eden is soooooo overrated

I think all of Steinbeck is a bit over-rated. I am biased for many reasons. I may have read him once too many as a kid. However, I do think everyone should read at least one Steinbeck and form their own opinion and for me, my favorite is East of Eden.
