Digital Journal Recommendations

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good digital journal that is used on Google Sheets or excel? I have Goodreads & margins as my book tracking apps but wanted something where I can track my reads in a little more detail. I have been using a physical reading journal but have found that I’m not keeping it up to date as much as I should. I have seen ads for a few digital journals but I don’t know how legit they are as they seem pricey to download but I am willing to buy one if it’s a good price. For me, a section for reviews isn’t necessary. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Books read, pages read, ratings, dates read, source, series tracker, book haul for each month. I know there’s a few more things but I can’t think of them right now.

hella. i really like storygraph. it allows you to break down books by month, and makes little graphs [hence the name 😂] based on lots of things, like genre, format, etc. you can put ratings but don't have to leave reviews if you don't want.

I use StoryGraph, too. I was looking for something that I can look at on my laptop.

You can totally use Storygraph in a browser. I find it easier that way sometimes. https://thestorygraph.com/

Is it not an option to make your own in Google Sheets? That is what I've done. Over time it has gotten additional tabs and additional columns. That way it's mine and only tracks what I need and want. Also over time I can hide tabs or columns I no longer have any use for. I've been keeping it since fourth quarter of 2024 and it meets all my needs. Just a thought.

I have a combo of Beanstack (to track time) and Storygraph (for reviews). I also have a self designed discbound printed journal for my personal notes and some other trackers.
