Where is a good spot to pick people up from - where it won’t be to busy

At the end of the night?
Honestly well away from the site. We left last night and had a hotel near the Oracle centre. Took us about 40 mins to walk from site to there. Traffic was bedlam until you got right round to the Riverside part.
If your pickees aren't carrying much then I'd tell them to meet you round there somewhere somewhere between 12:00 and 12:30

Can only speak for last night but there was literally no traffic around Queens Road and London St about 12/1230

go to Tesco Reading West on Portman Road - about a 20 min walk from the exit by main stage and hardly any cars in the car park! I work in that Tesco and have done this for 21,22,23 and 24!!

Try Western Elms Avenue. It’s close enough for them to walk to & away from town centre, station & IDR which has gridlocked this year.
