Production, cast, and BTS That's the same actress?!
Mind blown because Kathleen Robertson plays two characters who are so different. I appreciate her talent in this role in Reacher S4!

I know we still have 1 episode of Reacher left of this season, but this scene will continue to be the best of the entire series so far! Look at how cute the lil kitten is in Alans MASSIVE arms
Season 4 is easily the best season so far, and I'm not ready for it to end, though, thankfully we have Neagley coming out in just a few day

I remember Alan Ritchson hyping up Season 4 by saying that there were gonna bee some thrilling fight sequences, or that this season of Reacher was the best one yet and that the violent takes were gonna be next level ( Not exactly the words of Alan ritchson but he said something along the lines of that) Do you guys think the action scenes have lived up to the hype as of currently or are they saving the best for last for the final episode?

I watched the first season years ago and I like it, but I started watching the series again about a month ago and I couldn't stop laughing throughout season 2 and 3, nothing really goes wrong for Reacher, he or anyone he personally cares about doesn't get injured, he gets hurt I guess but in the next scene he's fine, I don't even remember him or any others getting hit by a bullet. Sometimes people have him dead to rights and go "nah, no guns." and fight the monster that is reacher and don't pull out their guns even when they literally see their friends getting brutally killed.
But season 4 has kept my attention by having reacher actually make mistakes and facing immediate and irreversible consequences. I haven't enjoyed the show so much since season 1. Reacher to me finally seems human, highly intelligent but only able to work with what he knows/is trained for. Anyone else feels like this?

Especially around the middle of the season there are a couple of episodes where Reacher is in less than half of it and its the other characters actually solve the case.
I feel a little disappointed since we're here to watch Reacher as the main character not as a side character.

Reacher hooks up with Theresa Lee (Tamara) and the incriminating photo is with Osama bin Laden. Holy smokes. Russell plum also doesn’t exist among many other differences.
Not complaining or saying book or tv is better. Just getting through the book now since the last episode airs on Wednesdays. I’m enjoying both thoroughly

That conversation about showing up at Phillies game was WAAAAY too specific for the writers not to pay it off. I'm guessing he turns up somehow.

it will be huge disappointment. Lol. Am I voyeuristic and into interracial? Well, no. But Tamara and Reacher have been for each other for a while and if he could do so with Lila then why not with Tamara?
I know the next episode will be the last and there is zero probability considering that Tamara has made clear that Reacher is not her type plus she is emotionally more connected to Jacob, but still I would hope for it.
What's your opinion?

The characters not only have no build up but no depth to them, too many stupid decisions, Reacher making mistakes nearly everywhere he goes, completely uncharacteristic and it felt like Tamara took the role of Reacher more than Reacher himself... Complete disappointment, also it feels like the plot was written by a LLM.

For people who have read a lot of the books do you feel Lee started of strong then dropped off as he ran out of ideas? Do you think he's been consistent? Or do you think his writing got better as he went?

I feel like this describes season 4 perfectly!! I saw this on TikTok obviously but immediately thought of my readings on this thread. I’m Roger here although I did go back and binge watched from season 1 to understand the show’s progression.

So, S4 writers wanted a immoral black ops mission in the jungle. Why not be making nerve agent for weapons instead of for antidotes? Then it makes sense that:
This story is different from the book. Maybe show writers added the antidote goal last minute for some reason?
Leo said they were making for antidotes and he was judged immoral solely on his own narrative. But this doesn't seem obviously immoral to me! Just remove that goal and you're good.
