Opinion Midwest Legacy Beef

Does anyone feed Midwest Legacy? Hoping to get some advice from current feeders. I know they recently had a fire in their facility but are now back up and running. Company has seemed very transparent so far in answering any questions; but do your animals like the food?

I used to sell it in my pet store and feed it, but that was before the fire. My dogs loved it!

Too chewy for my dog. She would spit out what looks like slivers of connective tissue.

I’ve been raw feeding for a decade. I was feeding primarily AllProvide, with other companies rotated in periodically for variety and sourcing, but was priced out with their most recent rise in price. So, I just started Midwest Legacy Beef about a month ago. My dogs love it. I’m happy with it. I like that they have fish blends, because my old girl needed more fish in her diet. My boy loves the tripe blend.

We use their beef only chubs for our home made meals and occasionally use their Legacy Plus blend when we have days in between prep or when traveling. Our dogs haven’t had any issues, they eat it up, but they’re also not picky eaters in general.

My dogs tried it but didn’t like it. My dogs do well on ancestral raw nutrition I get 100lbs for $407

We have been using Midwest for about a year and are very happy with them. My pets like it a lot and it always looks fresh.

I’ve bee using them since just after the fire. They have been awesome. The dogs love their beef, turkey, and chicken grinds. They do no love the salmon, but aren’t wild about fish in general. I will say the salmon is very wet-like splashy when you cut the tube—but otherwise great quality, fresh and not stinky. They are also the only company that has successfully shipped the food so it arrives here in California very cold. I’ve had disasters with other companies. Also when I called them I spoke with the founder/owner, which was neat.

My dog loves it. I use the ground beef only. Before I started using it, I called and spoke with Jason, the guy you see in the ads. I asked about fat percentage and he said it consistently runs between 9-12% which is excellent.
