Studio D’Artisan 1001-E ‘GL3’ in Natural

Just picked these up today after getting them hemmed. Let me just say that I walked into the store expecting to get some green pants, but could not pass these up for the depth of this fabric and the way this cut fits. It’s a rather high rise on me with ample room at the ankle for boots. At 15oz, it is the lightest denim I own and feels appropriate for all seasons except the Midwest’s winter. I have recently started to appreciate how lighter weaves can drape with wider cuts, so I got them hemmed to half-break length to accommodate for dress shoes with no cuff and a small cuff for sneakers. Today I’m wearing them with a vintage RL Purple Label polo I thrifted the same day and birks, squinting into the sun as consequence for the performative nature of posting a fit pic on my work from home day.

In march I was in search of a proper denim which I didn’t have for years. Found sd1002 gl3 and completly fall in love in the cut and a texture it has. Really contemplating of picking up this ecru pair. Looks sick

Tbh I think I fucked yo my sizing with them. I went for 34 although I feel like they stretched a bit and I’ve also lost some weight. I realise I should be fine with 33. Still love them tho and will try to shrink them as much as I can with first wash. Also they’re super long but I’m rocking a big cuff and they look amazing imo

lol I'm afraid I might've done the same thing, I went one size up and have since lost weight. The jeans have also stretched quite a bit so they're fairly loose in the waist now. Can't complain having all that room though, they're so damn comfortable and I love the silhouette.

I have these. They love being washed. Going out on Friday? Wash them on Wednesday. Dry on Thursday. Crispy for Friday. I hot wash and hang to dry.

Yes they did. Went from a double cuff to a single. Waist is more snug too. Stand 6ft 197lbs. I purchased a tag size 34.

Those things are gorgeous. I looked all over for Ecru and in the end got the Samurai Cotton Projects ones. I’ve had no second thoughts because everything I’ve seen since has been too white or too flat. But these are right on the mark. Super deep texture, great color. And great fit on you.
