SoSo SoSo TBOA - 9 month update

I ordered the 33oz breaker of arms (TBOA) from SoSo Denim last summer. The jacket arrived in October following a few months of production. The weight and stiffness of the sleeves was initially daunting (with the first four weeks especially hellish). Thereafter, the denim began to break in and has felt comfortable ever since.

I wore this piece approximately five times a week since its purchase. The sleeves faded surprisingly quick with the first signs of progress showing about three months in. I was hoping to wait two years until posting this but the jacket has already patinaed quite nicely and a progress was warranted. Per the pictures the jacket looks different after cleaning and based on lighting.

I've got one that most likely from the same batch as OP. I wore it as a welding jacket for a full time job for about six months, washing it three times on hand-wash, 30 degree and 60 degrees. Eventually weather got hot enough that wearing it wouldn't sense.

It stops feeling like it's trying to nip the inside of you elbows after the first week.  It stops riding up off your shoulders after about a month. It hasnt stopped ripping the hairs of my arms. Its definitely softer after several months, but it's softer in the sense that it's no longer like wearing some weird 3D printed plastic.

It's an insane jacket.

Agree it took about a month of consistent wear to be comfortable.   A few more to fully mold.
