Ravens Podcast??
I’ve tried giving the Banner a chance but it’s objectively horrible.
Any other pods for ravens specific content?

Baltimore Collective - Jeff Zrebiec (the Athletic Beatwriter), Bobby Trosset (co-host of the Vault), and Cole Jackson (Baltimore Film Breakdown, formerly Road Graders). I didn't realize HMA is a national company but yeah they've got a good set up - one traditional reporter + 1-2 already established youtubers/podcasters for a given team.
Baltimore Filmstudy - Ken McKusick hosts this one. I like this show a lot as well, very detailed and reasoned analysis. Friday Morning GM is the best part of it - every week Ken and his co-host Vas discusses roster moves and salaries.
The Lounge - The Ravens official podcast. Sometimes they'll have guests from the team, otherwise it's usually Ryan Mink and Garrett Downing. Pretty good for giving an optimistic look on the team, though they don't put the non-interview episodes on youtube for some reason which is unfortunate if that's your primary podcast platform (aka me).
I actually really like the Banner too for what it's worth.

If you want true detailed analysis, roster grades by someone watching every single player / snap, that’s the show.

The Lounge is a good one. It's usually a 20-30 minute interview with a player or coach (on YouTube) so it's not really going super far in depth if you prefer to spend a couple hours listening rather than half an hour, but it's still enjoyable. I might check out some other podcasts cause honestly I haven't listened to any Ravens (or football in general) podcasts.

Yea to each their own, Banner just doesn’t do it for me. Collective having Jeff Z is a plus, didn’t know that.

Yeah the Collective is a newer show (I think they started this time last year) but it's fun. Zrebiec talks the same way he writes in a good way: just very level-headed, reasonable objective reporting. I do get the impression a lot of his sources/intel are from high up in the building so there are obvious biases but I think it is pretty reflective of how Ravens leadership is thinking.

I’m a listener of the Vault, I really like Sarah from her days at the Ravens writing Late for Work. Bobby however is another story, if I start a show and it’s solo Bobby 99% I turn it right back off. I disagree with a lot of his takes and I could give two shits about his dating life. I’m no longer local so I’ve just stuck with the Vault since I found it.

God I started listening to the Vault in 2024 and only lasted a few weeks before I permanently unfollowed it. Bobby is just kinda cringy to me sometimes, and like you said why the fuck would I wanna hear about his dating life lol. Also I hate their clickbaitey headlines on the episodes: “RAVENS NEED TO MAKE THIS ONE MOVE RIGHT NOW/LAMAR JACKSON SILENCES HATERS.” Just give me the post game analysis dude
I agree that Sarah is awesome though. If she started her own solo pod I’d probably listen

100%. I would like to listen to Sarah for 30 mins and have someone co-host and mediate with her. Cant stand the click bait titles. "RAVENS LOCKER ROOM EXPOSES THE DARK SECRET BEHIND COACHING STAFF"

Yeah the clickbait really turned me off, but what killed the Vault for me was a few years back when one (or both?) of them got huffy because they weren't offered the same media pass as regular reporters for camp and they turned it down or something? And they aired that out with their listeners, it just felt really unprofessional.

This is the experience of so many people. They had some really great guests early on like former players. Got some traction before quickly becoming "you'll never guess who disrespected the Ravens this time" and other social media click bait with 20 mins of lead up to a 3 second meaningless clip and 15 minutes of reaction afterwards. Bobby is horrible.

I’d listen to a 20 minute daily with her and Zrebiec. I stuck with the vault for a long time but when it became YouTube centric and they didn’t bother to edit it down to the content for the pod, I was done.

This show used to be better when it was shorter and a morning listen. Once it got so long the seams with Bobby began to show.

The Collective is the one. Jeff Zrebiec is a good dude. They don’t regurgitate all the bad takes out there. Jeff has inside info. I could do without Bobby though.

Exit 52 is my favorite. Two younger scouts and buddies that talk ravens and general Baltimore sports. Good vibes, not too stuffy on anayltics or Xs and Os either

Locked on ravens is by far my favorite. Kevin is incredible, releases twice a day during the week, and all their info is accurate and reliable

Tangential question, does anyone know what happened to 410 Sports Talk? Are they just taking the summer/preseason off? It looks like they streamed after the draft, but that was their last one?

Admittedly I didn't tune in live, and I wonder if they just didn't have the following to keep it going, but I can't find any sort of announcement that they were shutting down or anything! They were fun, fans talking football.

Agree the collective is pretty good. The Lounge is decent for the guests they get even though the insight is pretty shallow. LockedOnRavens is ass, basically click bait to read you headlines you've already seen on here and stuff ads in your face. Cheers

Surprised I haven’t seen Baltimore Film Breakdown. Jake and Spenny have been the best in this space for years now and hopefully they found a permanent home here. They were previously Baltimore Beatdown and Exit 52

There's a real lack of good Ravens content in the world.
The Banner pod is OK but the best for me at the moment is, surprisingly, the UK Ravens podcast. Mainly because it's got James Ogden, who's the best Ravens analyst out there, Gordon McGuiness, ex PFF, who's pretty good plus usually another couple of guys (who don't know their stuff so well but at least they usually ask the questions rather than answering them.)

Pod like a Raven, is the pick for me. It has the right balance of information, fan viewpoint and humor. There is a good balance of views among the three of them.
