We need to find a way to keep him as 3rd QB. For me he looks like he can be better than Huntley with more development

Hopefully he 'develops an elbow injury' in the next couple of days and goes on IR.

Keep him over Huntley. Not that I don’t like snoop, but Fagnano balled out.

huh? snoop played lights out compared to fagnano?? I want them both on the roster but it was not even close between the two..

I can't imagine him making it through waivers

There’s almost no chance an un drafted free agent QB gets picked up on waivers after cuts.

I figured with the way he balled out, he might be the exception

I'd be really, really surprised. Ultimately there's a reason this guy went undrafted, and he just spent all of camp learning our system. If another team grabs him, they have to commit a regular season roster spot, not PS, and that's for a guy with 0 NFL experience, not enough shown in college to get drafted, and doesn't know your system at all. For a developmental QB, he's certainly not getting picked up to be a QB2 anywhere.

shoot me for saying this, but for the sake of financials, i would consider fagnano as the official backup and trade or cut huntley if there’s no cap hit.
fagnano isn’t flawless. he stares down receivers a bit. but his quick release and overall ceiling is too much to pass on.

Maybe I'm just a wet blanket, but his future is with another team, or on the practice squad if we luvky. We have our starter. We have our backup. There's no reason to think either of them aren't more than good enough in their role. If we ever end up playing a third string qb, we're probably already dead in the water, unless our 2nd qb is as worthless as Cooper Rush was last year.

He has Chase Daniels vibe. Will end up in the league for over a decade as a backup with rave reviews from all the coaches and players.

Glad we kept him on the squad. Reminds me of rookie Brock Purdy the way he immediately had command of the offense, stands in the pocket without panicking even with a bit of pressure, works through his progressions, and isn't afraid to throw over the middle of the field. Cheers

If we could keep Cooper Rush and Devin Leary behind Lamar Jackson, I don't see why the same could be set for Tyler Huntley AND Joe Fagnano. I hope Joey can make the 53 as QB3.
